| Lawn |
Mowing should be accomplished as necessary to maintain a neat appearance. The
lawn should have minimal weeds. There should not be any bare spots. Grass clippings
should not be on driveway, sidewalks, or curbs. |
| Edging |
Edge beside sidewalks, curbs, driveways, foundations, fences and other surfaces to
maintain a neat appearance. |
| Cracks & Crevices |
Grass and weeds should be removed from cracks in hard surfaces. |
| Bushes & Trees |
Bushes and trees shall be neat in appearance. Dead limbs should be removed. |
| Removal of Debris |
The lawn must be free of debris (paper, cans, recycling bins/bags,children's
toys, skateboard ramps, etc.) Additionally, there should not be items leaning up against the house/garage
such as plywood, tires, etc. |
| Vehicles |
Vehicles are to be parked on the driveway only. There will not be any vehicles in the
driveway which violate the covenants for that area. For example, a motorcycle, camper, trailer, RV, or
boat shall not be in the driveway or on the side of the house. |
| Landscaping/Flower Beds |
The beds shall be neat and clean with a clean edge, free of weeds, and mulched. |
| Overall Appearance |
The overall appearance of the yard, to include the house, shall be pleasant, neat and maintained. |
| Restrictive Covenants |
If any of the restrictive covenants is violated, regardless of the overall appearance,
this will automatically disqualify a home for the Yard of the Month Award. |
